Already thought of that a while back. Hopefully the thermal expansion wont ruin that thought and mess everything up. If anything I will make another brace to hold the engine in place by the gearbox.

Damn that's nice!

We're RHD in Aus so most of the manifolds I've seen won't fit because of the steering shaft. But mounting the turbo infront of the engine may avoid that problem.

Can you have a look at your steering shaft and imagine the mirror version of it on the other side and let me know if you think it'll hit the turbo manifold? I'll probably buy one anyway to test and even modify.
I will have a look at it for you. I dont think it will fit but after I get my manifold back finished up, I'll measure it out for you. Should take about 2 weeks.

I went ahead and thought it up for the 2004 S2000's but didn't consider RHD cars. The 2004's have extra bracing and stuff but the downpipe should hopefully still fit. We'll find out not too long from now I hope

Very nice.... Are you still going with an after market/custom intake?

In one of you pictures, it seems that the turbo in very close to a tube/pipe.... any concerns?

ya, i'm gonna go with a intake of my own design. I don't really want a lot of the stuff that's out there. The Full-Race IM's that they made for the B series look really nice though for peak power. Looked like a good bit of HW went into it. I'm sure they'll give a generous sized plenum for the motor. Let's hope it's $900 like the B series as well.

I'm assuming you're talking about the A/C lines. Nope, no concerns because I haven't finished moving them around. The way they are now are only to give initial room for the turbo and etc. I'll finish arranging stuff as I go along. Making heat shields, adding heat wrap, and heat deflectors.
