Have you flow benched that exhaust manifold?
The inner diameter of each runner is pretty large and fairly smooth on the inside. There have been a lot of extremely high HP setups running the same I.D. piping for the runners. The collector is proven to be a good design as he's done 400 manifolds before me and a good bunch of them used the same collector.

That being said, nope, I haven't flow benched the manifold.

[QUOTE=Hobbyholic,Oct 10 2004, 10:16 AM] Kane did you do any work to the head? Cp are the best pistons at the time.. Very impressed with setup and welds..

kane.s2k, everything looks nice, but I don't see how someone can pay $1500-$1600 for a manifold that has never been flow tested. He should at least give you a huge discount for testing it for him. I've seen those collectors and they are good, but the rest of the manifold I don't know. Regardless, I wish you good luck and I hope you make some great power.

He did give me a fat discount. Him and his family are some of the nicest and generous people I've ever met in my life. It cost me a fortune to get my car to him but overall I'm happy with the experience.

The reason for the cost is that it has 47 welds and a lot of material cost. The welds are done by hand so it takes a while in labor.

We'll see how the manifold works out. Thanks for the wishes.

Damn that's nice!

We're RHD in Aus so most of the manifolds I've seen won't fit because of the steering shaft. But mounting the turbo infront of the engine may avoid that problem.

Can you have a look at your steering shaft and imagine the mirror version of it on the other side and let me know if you think it'll hit the turbo manifold? I'll probably buy one anyway to test and even modify.
