Default Some problems !"#

Hi There people

1.

When i remove the gas cap, and put it back again, the car has problems to start!

I need to give the car some serios throttle for it to start! but when i get the car to start this problem dont show up until next time i remove the cap! (when i need more fuel to my lovly car :-)
NO CEL code is Visible

2.

When the car is cold, i often get the code P1457, happens when i have drove it for a mile or so, not every time dough. But when the engine is hot i dont get the code! it almost only happens in the morning when driving to work! I saw some post about this code, and the gas cap seems to be the problems for most of people

how come that the car isnt getting any fuel? when pressure in tank is released?

Can this 2 problems have a connection

Some suggestion?

can there be some dirt/water in the vacum hoses? canister?

Thx, Simon

This is odd. The car can usually run fine with a bad gas cap or one that is poorly put on. And that code is indeed related to the EVAP system. I suspect that there is something else going on with this system and you should get it checked out.
