Some of my Car Relays die on a regular basis
I had electrical problems with my S2000 when I bought it a few years ago that ended up being due to the Starter Relay and others crapping out slowly every 6-9 months. No Starter relay = No car start. Occasionally the turn signal relays have crapped out too, car didn't even charge the battery properly until I swapped every relay.
I keep a bag of Car Relays handy but obviously it's not normal for my car relays to die regularly.
Battery, Alternator, and other big electrical components are fine. No bad wires far as I could tell so far.
A mechanic suggested the relay/fuse box is probably bad and should be replaced. Any ideas on what to test for or solutions?

Same OEM Omron relays used in the s2000 and other honda vechicles. Majority used in the S2000 are the exact same model and size. Never had a trouble with any of the few other ones of different voltage sizes. It's mainly my starter relay that decides to crap out on a yearly basis even when I barely drive the car and keep it in a secure garage.

A low battery voltage (from parasitic load while the car is sitting) could theoretically lead to very rapid relay cycling, accelerating wear. Just my thought.
Also this ^
I'd be tearing one open to look for signs of corrosion.

Tried cracking one open, looked fine to me. I noticed one that would fail to work in the starter would sometimes work for the horn.
Yep, I'm guilty of that. I barely drive it and leave the battery hooked up longer than I should.
While you're storing it do you keep the battery hooked up to the car? Using a battery trickle/storage charger or no?
