I believe if you take it to the stealership, they can hook it up to their machines and check it for a premium fee. They have their proprietary machines for reprogramming ecus for keys and such. Give your stealership a call first and see how much it'll cost if they can do it.

Other than that, I don't have much advice. Sorry.

i figured out the problem tonight. it was a blown fuse.

it was a blue 15 fuse near the fuse box in front of the battery. i think it was labeled as alternator something.

Thats good to know. I wouldn't have even thought about checking the fuses.
