Soft Top Rubbing/Wear Marks when folded
I'm looking to see if anyone has had a similar issue? I tried searching the forums but I couldn't come up with a topic where someone had a similar problem.
Problem:The top seems to be rubbing against itself quiet a bit when it's folded down.
Background: I replaced my AP1 top with good condition (used) OEM Honda AP2 top and frame. Pretty confident these rubbing marks weren't on the top when I purchased it. Straps are a little stretched but I don't think they're too bad. I feel like something else might be causing this issue? I couldn't find anything similar when searching for worn straps?
I'm wondering if anyone has had a this problem.
Below are some photos and a video...

Mine has those marks, too. Mostly on driver's side. I always thought it was my FAT HEAD interfering with air flow in the cabin.

I recently used Auto Glym soft top cleaner & protector and I noticed it's been more pronounced since then. Perhaps, that might be making it worse? I need to give the top another good cleaning to see if it will help. Although, it still resembles wear vs. dirt build up.

My ap2 has the same marks. I found it improves a little with gnetle scrubbing froma soft brush and some convertible top cleaner.
I found my straps were worn out, so recently did the modifry straps. It seems like the rubbing situation has improved since, but it hasn't been long enough yet to really tell.
