put some ducktape inside. $2.99.

for 1799, i would save a little more and buy hardtop.
Save the money for a hardtop. I just got an iron-on patch for the inside, and used some black thread to sew the outside together. You can't really notice unless up close but I drive with the top down everywhere so it doesn't bother me.

http://www.tear-aid.com/ (Type B for vinyl)
Try this as a temp. fix works excellent!
Also, for those of you who may be worried about rips in the future use this inside were the frame rubs.

$800 for a new OEM installed soft top is not a bad deal.

There is a local upholstery shop who has been giving the Florida s2ki owners a deal to replace with a non-OEM top for $900.

Installation can be a bear. The quickest I've been able to get it down to is about 4-5hrs.

I had mine replaced for free but they were hesitant at first and had to have a Honda rep come out to approve it so I'm pretty sure Honda paid the bill and not the dealership. That was two years ago and now my new top is doing it again.

I don't understand why, if this is so prevalent, they aren't willing to replace these for free all the time? Does anyone know why this even happens so often? I haven't seen any bulletins.
