Soft Top / Pass window --- Fail..........
Sup,
Had my soft top and Pass window stop working today.
Checked:
1) Fuses
2) Window switch
3) All connection points at switches
4) S2ki for a solution and seems to be the Soft Top Mod FAIL............ P# 86500-S2A-A01
Here's the deal. I have a track weekend and can't get the part by then. They require both windows to be down.
????? Is there a way to wire the Pass Side Window around the soft top mod. ?????
I could care less if the soft top works I just need the window to roll up and down....any hardtop guys wired around the module to get the pass window to work.

The softtop won't open if the windows won't go down. My guess is check the window lock switch on the drivers side. Make sure you didn't hit it accidentally. After that I don't know.

We'll the roof switch overrides the window lock switch. I've tried all the easy stuff. I googled noob items hoping I was having an "off" day and couldn't fiqure out how to use my S2K. But I'm sure its a bad Soft Top Mod.
Just hoping someone has a wiring diagram of the window bypass around the soft top mod.

I can almost guarantee that it is the soft top module that has gone bad. Same exact thing happened to mine. Was working fine before lunch, then after lunch the top and passenger window wouldn't go down (though the driver window would). Replaced the soft top control module and all was good again.
The Honda dealer can't get you the soft top control module before the weekend?!? Seems odd. I know a member on here that has one he could sell you, but he's in NC. You might could work out for him to overnight it to you, or USPS Priority (like the flat-rate boxes) are usually two-day delivery. His username is S2000 SHOP, here is his big FS thread: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/102...2000shop-10-7/. That's who I bought mine from, and he had another one when I bought mine so he probably still has it.
I haven't heard of a way to bypass the STM in order to get the window to roll down. But you could just pop the door panel off and it should just be two bolts where the window glass meets the regulator frame and you can lift the glass right out of the door. Just remove the window glass completely. Only thing is I'm not exactly sure how accessible those two bolts are when the window is rolled completely up. Worth a shot?

Update
Went to the dealership and they gave me an old Shop Service Manual. I can actully rebuild an entire S2k from this.
The door switches work completely different than I ever thought.
Everything is 0-5V and the soft top mod controls all window functions. The saftey bypass in the ckt is the driver window will work and has its own ckt board in the switch.
I've over nighted a new part.
Cost $200 shipped.
