Soft top not working! :(
Hey whats up guys, I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue.
I tried to put my top down today but it didnt work.
I did some searches and found similar issues but they were saying their windows were not working either...
My windows are working fine, its just the top that wont move.
will i need a new soft top motor? i read that i should play around with the wires under the console, which i will try out tomorrow when i have some time.
any advice would help. thanks!
i read i needed #10? http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...IT+%28CABIN%29

Does it click at all?
Do you hear the motor trying to move the top at all?
Have you checked your fuses?
When was the last time you operated your top?
Did you work on the car at all or change anything before it stopped working?
Check your fuses first, then lift your center console and check the switch, then listen to the motor, then replace what's needed

Pardon me for being Captain Obvious, but the parking brake is pulled up, right? I ask because I've had a few "Homer Simpson moments" over the years. No offense intended. If the parking brake is on, the first thing I'd check is the switch at the parking brake. I forget how it's wired, but eliminate the simple/cheap things before replacing motors, etc.

lol yea i did that awhile back when i first got the car... and yea i double checked a bunch of times to make sure the e-brake was fully up so its not that, unless the safety thing for it isnt triggered

Did you ever get to fix this problem? I experienced exactly the same problem last night. No sound whatsover when I press the switch. I you did fix it can you tell us how you did it? Thanks.

Search around for info on testing the convertible top module. Though, IIRC, typically convertible top module issues will affect the passenger window.
