Default Soft Top Lock Restoration

Hello all, I am having my soft top replaced and was wondering if there was a way to restore the soft top locks so the top can sit flush against the rubber seal on the windshield?

You can just buy new soft top latches; they are sold on facebook. ebay and sometimes on the forums.
You can ask to either come with new hardware as well screws ect. I might even look to do new screws as most are 20 + years old.

I also tell people to put in shredded memory foam inside the soft top latches and it stop the rattle

are you referring to the groove that gets worn into the latch by the hook? If so is it possible to swap left/right to establish a new contact point?

Put a thin layer of all purpose grease on the hook and latch once a year, you'll never have a problem. That reminds me.

Most of us already have an indentation. this will prevent this groove?

Wondering this myself new parts people want insane money for. The hook on the soft top seems in good condition but the grooves on my latches are definitely worn.
