^^^ Actually, thats similar to the solution that i found in Honda ISIS (integrated service information system)

1. cut 8 10mm x 10mm pieces of EPT sealer
2. remove the adhesive backing and fold the pieces into a 10mm x 5mm wad
3. remove the lock handle and turn it over
4. use a small screwdriver to stuff 4 wads between the plastic trim and the mounting bracket
5. reinstall and repeat for other side.

when i bought my S, i noticed that they serviced a "rattle" in my maintenance records, so if your still on your warranty, then take it in!

My g/f s needs new strykers, and her passenger side button on the latch just fell off yesterday. Guess its time to order parts.

i just ordered a set of new "updated" hardtop strikers. i'll let everyone know if it resolves the problem.

I have the same rattle in my latches, has anyone tried squirting "hot glue" between the plastic cover and the metal latch, I will try that this weekend. Also I'm gonna get some thin Teflon washers to insert at the latch pivot point, this has gotta work.
