Default Soft Top Issues

I had my car at the body shop for 2 weeks, and I'm not sure what they did with the top, but the bar that runs behind the seats above the rear window, the one attached to the springs.. When I put the top up, it springs forward all the way until it hits the bar in front of it. Is there supposed to be a stop of some sort that keeps it from going that far forward?
Maybe pictures would help out? I'm sure you know what I'm talking about though. It's an AP2, if that makes a difference.

Are the straps that attach that bar to the lower part of the tub there? 2 straps, one on each side.

The straps are cut, I just checked. Should I have them fix it, or take it to the dealer and give the body shop the bill? I have a hole in the top that I suspect is from them too.

What all was done at the body shop?

Lets assume they caused the damages...I'd offer them the chance to tell the truth, by meeting in person and calmly showing them your concerns. If you have conclusive proof that nothing was wrong prior to leaving the vehicle in their care you may have a case against them if they deny all damages. However, I'd look over everything you signed(if you signed anything, a smart shop would have you sign) before going the route of trying to get them to pay for something. Many shops have an "It's not our fault" or "Whatever happens happens" statement built into their work-order policy.

I had a full color change done. I'm not sure if they took the top out completely, but I know it was down every time I went to check up on things. I'll talk to them soon and see what I can do.
