Soft Clutch?
Hey all, so Ive never really thought my clutch was super soft, but I always thought it was really easy. After being in a few other s2ks, ap1, ap2 and ap2(06+), mine feels VERY soft. I know obviously the ap1 have stiffer clutches, but even compaired a few other 06+ ap2s mine feels effortless. My car only has 14k on it and I drive pretty easy, no lauches or anything, but I guess its always been this soft? It has good pressure at the grab point on the top but after that its almost effortless to push it down, maybe Im used to it? I wish there was a way to stiffen it up, as it feels much too soft to me now. Any idea as to why? Maybe my car just has a soft clutch? Thanks!

wow! you never here of anyone complaining of having too soft a clutch. but hey...whatever right? anyway, if the clutch is fine and you dont have any grinding, you're good. i doubt that with 14k on the odometer you would have any issues. if anything check the fluid level. bleed it if you feel its required. the only way to get a stiffer clutch is to get a beefier pressure plate. but why would you if you only do some spirited driving and use it as a DD. good luck and i hope this helps.

'08s have light clutches. Mines the same way, when I'm in uniform I can barely feel the clutch pedal through my boots. I've never compared them to other '06+ cars, but they are a lot lighter than AP1's.
