I also use the Amsoil severe gear as well. But I was just seeing if it was another option to consider.

Is it GL5 as well?

They brought it in from one of their other divisions, I can't remember if it was the motorcycle division or the marine division, but our local dealers have been carrying it for a long time.
Ever since dealers started blowing up S2000 diffs with improper Honda fluids designed for the CR-V they brought in the 80w90, it is in a Honda bottle. I think it is the one found on this web page

I bought a bunch of other stuff at the same time so didn't realize until I got home how expensive that bottle was.
Never going to pay that again.
Funny thing was I tried discussing other diff fluids with the manager there and got told nothing else would work and just an idiot would try anything else

Honda makes an 80w90 diff fluid, and most dealers should carry it. If you are going to use a dealer fluid I would use that before the one that you listed.
Personally I would avoid the fluid that you referred to. The term lower viscosity scares me, it is going to be thinner than a 75w90 which is the thinnest fluid I would ever put in the diff.
Based on all of the fluids I've run, the lowest wear has come from the thickest fluids. I've used 75w90, 75w110, 75w140, and SAE110. I believe that our diffs get better protection from a thicker fluid, based on the operating temperatures which it is going to be used.
