My understanding was that the AP1 friction disc was the only one that suffered from the buzz, and that the AP2 disc was redesigned to solve that problem and eliminate buzz. My car originally had the AP1 disc with the buzz, then I put in that AP2 disc up there and never had buzz with it.

Ah nice, maybe the owners that have had OEM clutches purchased somehow got AP1 discs then, because a few OEM clutches I have installed have buzzed just as bad as the previous.
