SMOKING PROB UNDER HEAVY LOAD
HAY GUYS IM HAVING A PROB WITH MY 01 S2K AT HIGH RPM UNDER HEAVY LOAD THE CAR WILL SMOKE EXSSESIVLY. I AND A FRIEND WHO WORKS WITH ME AT HONDA AND IS ALSO A HONDA TECH FOLLOW ME AND THE CAR SMELLS LIKE RAW GAS. THE CAR WILL ALSO LOAD UP WITH FUEL AND BOG DOWN WHEN I IDEL IN TRAFICK FOR TOO LONG SOME TIMES TILL I REV IT OUT TO CLEAR THE MOTOR OF FUEL. I AM JUST INTERESTED TO KNOW IF ANY ONE HAS A HAD PROB LIKE THIS. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP OR INPUT YOU CAN GIVE.

01 ECU is super rich. You're just revving it up and getting cooler IAT's from suction to combat the force of heat soak. Nothing wrong with your car if your leak down and compression numbers are good. Typical of 00-01 to smoke a bit from oil and fuel.

it's also possible that your injectors are filthy and one or two of them are dribbling fuel rather than spraying it.
I'd say just run something like Techron through them to see if that helps. I had my injectors removed and professionally cleaned and tested. One of mine was dribbling but now they are all within 1cc of each other. You really should only need to do that if you are adding FI or want to maximize NA performance on stock injectors.

Usually you have to have your injectors sent away to be cleaned and tested. It's not something a dealership is going to have the equipment to do.
Still, no harm in cleaning them externally, I guess.
