Smoke from my exhaust on my ap1

My bet... going to a good 10W-40 may solve some of the oil burn-off issues. You didn't post how much oil you are burning. But, if it's like a quart every 400 miles or less --- best to find a way to slow down the consumption. If the oil use is around 800-1000 miles/quart, esp with high R's use, don't sweat it.
With high mileage small, high R's engines I like Mobil One 10W-40. Or even 15W-50, if you live in areas where the ambient temp often is above 100F. Straight weight oils, like 30W or 40W, sometimes works well in these engines that start burning oil. It's better to have a car that isn't losing a lot of oil, out the exhaust. For the health of the motor. JMOOC.

Engine was fully warmed up when this happened? Sounds like rings and/or valve guides clearance is starting to wear. Did most of the smoke from the exhaust happen on acceleration or deceleration? Accel usually = oil rings. Decel = valve guides. Just a rule of thumb.
How many miles on the engine? You may need to go to heavier weight motor oil. For instance, 10W-40, instead of 10W-30.

Did you even read his post? He said the smoke was black/ white, running rich or burning coolant or condensation like another member said.

He also stated this:
" I do burn a lot of oil. "
