Smoke from my exhaust on my ap1
My buddy was driving behind me and told when i rev up into the higher rpm a little black smoke comes out followed by white smoke.. Im not sure why its doing this?

Engine was fully warmed up when this happened? Sounds like rings and/or valve guides clearance is starting to wear. Did most of the smoke from the exhaust happen on acceleration or deceleration? Accel usually = oil rings. Decel = valve guides. Just a rule of thumb.
How many miles on the engine? You may need to go to heavier weight motor oil. For instance, 10W-40, instead of 10W-30.

How bad is the oil consumption? If it's less than a quart every 1000 miles, you are prolly ok. You can try 10W-40 and see if that helps the issue.
BTW... that white smoke could be steam --- are you losing water in the cooling system? If so, check the overflow reservoir for signs of oil-in-water. Can look like a smear of goop or chocolate milk shake appearance. Or if you remove the oil dipstick, do you see "chocolate milk shake-like deposits on the stick? This could mean a head gasket issue.

I do burn a lot of oil, i change it every 2000-2500 miles, and its very dark by the time i change it. My oil is clean right now when i take my dip stick out to check, im going to check my coolant when i get home and let you know! Thank you man, ill try 10w 40 this next oil change to see if i get a different result

Good that there is no oil in the water and vice versa. Sounds like oil rings maybe a bit worn. Sometimes, when cheap oil is used or good oil is left in the car way too long --- the oil ring get deposits on them and lose some of their elasticity. I remember some folks running red auto tranny fluid (like Dexron) through old BMW 2002's to help clean up deposits. Then, flushing the engine with a couple of changes of regular motor oil. Auto tranny fluid (the red type) has lots of detergents in it and low viscosity. So, it works its way into small ports and areas well & helps to clean out deposits.
Then sometimes, the engine's oil rings will free up after this treatment. To the point of sealing better. Just a thought anyhow.
FWIW... I redid several BMW 2002 and 2002Ti, many moons ago. This Honda S2000 is the most fun car I've owned, since those days. Lot of the same attributes.

Yeah, Marvel Mystery Oil could work. ATF works. At least, I've seen it work on a few engines. Really, it just delays the inevitable rebuild.

A little blueish/white smoke when vtec engages is normal, as long as you're not billowing clouds I wouldn't worry too much. When was the last time you did a valve adjustment? Black smoke is from running rich.
