Default Smoke at Idle

Long story short... My 05 AP2 was boosted and at 452whp. It had a single 3" exhaust with no cat or anything. Didnt smoke and wasnt smoking last time I drove it before I pulled everything off and went back to NA. Now the car is back to stock, but with a AEM V2 intake, Berk 70mm test pipe and Skunk2 exhaust. Drove it for the first time today to work (15 minutes one way) and noticed when I parked, there was some smoke going by and coming from the exhaust. I think it was kind of grey/black, but couldnt really tell if it had a blue tint. I did a couple of WOT pulls on the way and didn't notice any smoke in the mirror, but then again I wasn't paying much attention.

So, Im curious as to whether I need to check it out further or is it maybe just the new exhaust and test pipe breaking in? Im using motul v300 10-40 at the moment, but am going to change the oil in the next few days.

Doesnt have any CEL or anything... Thanks for the help

My car has been starting to do the same thing. Every now and then I will be sitting at a stop light and I will notice smoke blowing by the window for about 5 seconds and then it stops. Does it about twice within an hour of driving around. Not sure why. I have a gutted test pipe into a straight pipe all the way back to an n1 style muffler single outlet. Not a new exhaust either.

Because no katalyc your running with a test pipe, so nothing "clears" the exhaust fumes, i have the same with 5zigen superlap and a invidia testpipe.

Have this same issue at idle and smokes for 10 to 15 seconds or so, also have a spoon ecu and test pipe but smoke is bluish though.

What? NO, not ever.

Thick White Smoke - Coolant = likely blown head gasket, exhaust will smell sweet.
Black Smoke - Rich condition
Blue Smoke - Eating Oil

In cooler weather, some slight white "smoking" might be noticed. It is normal and not smoke at all, it is water, which is a by-product of combustion as water vapor.

Sometimes a large diameter exhaust will have water dirt and crud pool up where the exhaust goes under the differential, when it gets hot enough it'll blow it out sometimes as smoke.
