Default Small mistake, any possible engine damage?

So my dumb-ass left my 3/8" ratchet and 19mm socket on the crank bolt after adjusting my valves; started car, heard strange noise for 3-4 sec and then POP! Ratchet fell out on the floor. No damage other than it swinging around and breaking the nipple off my vacuum box, which I fixed. Just wanna make sure there isn't an upcoming "event" in my future from the ratchet being on there for the first few seconds of starting it...

And I checked the crank-bolt torque after, didn't move it thankfully.

It won't hurt the engine, only the ratchet.

lucky for us the engine spins the ratchet in the loosening direction so it just spins the ratcheting mechanism and the handle doesn't spin, if it went the other direction it could have put a hole through the hood or worse.

NO DOUBT! Somehow the socket was able to disengage from the ratchet when it happened; the socket was still on the bolt head . It sounded horrible for sure lmao (the ratchet still works btw but it's sloppy in movement now inside the hole the gear-set sits in)
