Update
Just got my car back today from the dealership. Parts delivery took a little longer than expected and because of the long weekend, I wasn't able to bring the car in until tuesday. The tech replaced both seals and so far, no leaks (knock on wood).
Cost of parts: $11
Labor: $550
Honda Warranty:
to Hardin Honda in Anaheim, CA

Hey Ken,
Looks like my 2005 S2K has the exact same problem. I have noticed that I have some oil spots in the same location on my garage floor. I will need to take my car in and get some warranty work done. Thanks for posting the pix and info up for the rest of us who have the same oil leak problem.

I had to have the transmission input shaft seal replaced twice.
Once because the dealer (Hardin Honda ) didn't do it right and claim that it wasn't leaking anymore and a second time because I was having the 2nd gear pop-out (TSB-05-009). Honda World Westminster did the 2nd gear synchro replacement and fixed the seal properly this time around. Haven't had a leak since.

seems like this happens on later model s2k's.
anyhow, question for SLOW:
if i am replacing my clutch soon, should I replace both seals as a maintenance type of work...? since one of the causes they leak is because they get old...
