Slight Oil Leak
Just wondering how likely my oil leak could be from me forgetting to change out the crush washer. I have a tad bit of leak that drips onto the ground whenever my car shuts off and cools down. It doesn't continuously drip and stops after a while. I've had a look but can't really pinpoint where it's coming from and I'm pretty sure I haven't had it before.
I am turbo'd and I have a suspicion that it may be somewhere by the oil return bung; however, I don't recall having it previously. On a different note, I have changed the oil about a week ago and once again have forgotten to change the crush washer. I reckon it's been twice now and as soon as I put the oil in, I remembered about the washer!
Anyways, I have a new one waiting to go on but it'll have to wait until the next change, but like I said, I'm just wondering if my little leak is from the washer. It's not heaps of oil, but enough to see a small spot on the ground after each drive.

You don't really need to replace the washer unless its warped...or doesn't lay flat. Did you have to tap the oil pan for the return line? I'd look into that first.
It should be pretty easy to tell where you have an oil leak, just jack the car up and check where there is dirty, oil build up.

Every oil change on a Honda I do gets a new crush washer. It's a 14 cent washer, and prevents a leak as well as damage to the oil pan.
