Silly Cause for Engine Noise
This morning when my car started I heard this terrible squealing noise and hiss coming from the area of the the alternator belt and front of the engine.
I took it in to get looked under warranty (7k miles) and it turns out that there was a sticker/label (I am not sure if it was originally on the belt or came from something else in the engine) stuck to the belt making all that racket.
Glad it was something silly and non-threatening.
