Two different people, I get what you guys are saying. In his first post he was talking about three different things really. ONE i think he was trying to see if the vacuum lines could blow the pump. TWO he was wondering about how hard the pump is to replace. THREE could his check engine light being on cause him to run rich like that.

I have told him it could be in "limp in" mode, but i dont know for sure soo that is where i think he is reaching out to you guys for help.

s2kboii let me know if i got that right?!
