Default Sigh...

Bought the car in June, clutch crapped out in July....finally figured out how to get it done by Jan. Wrecked the car Jan 23 and got it back two days ago from the repair shop. Noticed my exhaust header bolts weren't on tight so I took it to honda to get them to do it....stupid idea FYI. Well, a few hundred bucks later =( as i'm driving to lunch, my Maintenance Required light pops on....I'll have the CEL codes later when I get hope, if she can make the 40 mile trip there.

I swear, if it's not one thing, it's another.....8 months of owning and only 7 weeks of drive time /wrists

the maintenance required light is not the same as the CEL...and I would have just tightened up the exhaust manifold bolts myself...very easy...I think youre making a mountain out of a mole hill...clutches have to be replaced and sometimes accidents happen....stop with the self-pity party and enjoy the car now that things seem squared away

Maintenance required lights pops up when you past a certain amount of miles. I believe after 6,000 miles. It has nothing to do with any mechanical issue with the car. Simply tells owners, "hey look at me! time to change your oil and look under the hood!!" which you should be doing weekly. Do a search and find out how to reset it.

once you get it all sorted out then youll have a better feeling about it. you are still a fairly new owner. most of these issues would be addressed within the first year of ownership.
