From what I heard yesterday Phil's exhaust is done and is simply waiting on the header.

honestly inconel would be a waste of money unless your headder is getting red hot for extended periods of times. and even then a stainless one with proper bracing should be adequete
but i guess its pimp factor

Inconel is for weight savings. Like a titanium exhaust, but on coke.

Inconel is for heat resistance. Typical alloys of inconel have about twice the weight of titanium.

Status report on big exhaust.

We were able to find out how much power I could make with just an improved cat back system. It is still passing through the small collector. The next step is to see how much power I can make with the larger header and exhaust. Then we will try to make a slightly smaller exhaust that is quieter. He has a larger race muffler that will fit in place of the original mufflers. The current large exhaust is just too loud. I put the Amuse dual back on and it seems quiet.

At the pace we are moving I expect the headers to be done in a couple months ( ) well maybe by April and the complete system by next summer.

On the good side Jack did show me some secrets he is incorporating into the headers......nice tricks and should allow us to make lots of power.
