Side marker not working but turn signal does
#11
My blinkers go out way the heck more often when I fill them with Mobil 1.
Then, I remember that commercial about those engines that run without oil, so I tried that. Now it works like a charm.

so I've spent some time to tackle this issue last night and I was able to narrow down the pain point to the splitter of green/yellow wire.
Just by looking at the ETM, I realized the green/yellow wire goes to both side marker, turn signal light in the headlight. It seems like something might have disconnected when one cable gets spliced to two wires somewhere along the line. Does anyone know where this is happening?
Bulb, socket, connector was all fine.

What are these "side markers" referenced here. The ones by the S2000 emblems on the sides of the front fenders?
None here. Or does the ignition need to be on? Parking brake on? Mine just blink with the turn signals.

Measure the VDC with blinker on, passenger side. If you aren't getting pulsing 12VDC --- prolly issue with blinker relay. Or connections.

Yup. I already have done that. Socket, connector, at the wire. no pulsing signal. I am currently suspecting the connection since the connection is split after the relay according to the ETM. I assume you're referring to the relay under the driver's dash right?

Yes, relay under the dash, by steering wheel. I have the color of wire being green/yellow for all passenger side turn indicators (front & rear). Page 22-146 of Honda Shop manual.

All mine have ever done is blink. I think. Car is covered so I can't tell for sure. I know the driving lights don't on until the car is in gear and maybe the parking brake is released.

Yeah.. that wire somehow gets split to send power to front and fender. Been looking everywhere to see where that happens but Im not getting anywhere.
