Default shuttering problem

Ok guys, I apologize if this has been discussed and clarified before but I haven't found the solution to my problem yet. I've read numerous possibilities but I've crossed out most of em.

Here's my problem, I have an ap1 with 84k miles on it. I put the car in 1st gear, and without giving it gas at all I let go of the clutch and the car starts "shuttering". Thats what my mechanic refers it too. It only does this when rpms are low. Now, my mechanic has been racing and building 1000hp+ k series engines for years, but with his experience it also is very expensive for me to have him inspect the car. I just want to find the problem here and just have him fix it. He ruled out any mounts already, he wanted to see if it was the flywheel though???? Even when coming to a stop, or when ac kicks on, the car will "shutter". But like I said, it only happens when rpms are at about 500 or a bit lower. But I know this is not normal. At cold start I don't have this issue at all. Any suggestions or anyone that has had this problem and has fixed it I would really appreciate the help, again guys, I know this has been discussed before, I just can't find a straight answer anywhere.

My 07 S2000 with 82k miles has this problem also. Even with the AC off and just engine on and warmed up, if the RPM drops below 1k range it "shutters" then jumps up to about 1.2-1.3k rpm then eventually drops and does the same thing. I'm wondering if its because I'm due for a valve adjustment. I'm trying to get it done asap so I can see if that helps or fixes the issue.

My car doesn't do that bro. My rpms don't jump back up unless I give it gas or push the clutch back in. I know it can't be any mounts cause I have the same exact problem on my 92 eg, which has avid racing mounts. I really hope its just the flywheel and not something worst or more complex.

Cleaning the IAC, and the air channel that feeds the map sensor (unbolt throttle body and you'll see it) is a good place to start. Both are involved with maintaining idle.

This is most likely the problem that I am having. Will report back once I try the fixes listed in this thread:

^^^ hopefully that's your problem and not something else. It can be a headache tracking down little problems at times. And hopefully my problem is a dirty iacv.....

Thanks in advance guys.

map sensor issue is more likely than IAC.
