Default Should I be worried about my radiator?

Car has over 150k and is daily driven. It's been pretty hot before. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but these cracks seem to have gotten worse over the past year or so. Is it getting ready to blow?

It's eventually going to leak when the cracks get worse.

just curious...

I had a 98 prelude with plastic rad and over 150k on the clock..it never leaked. I know of no firm data that indicates that surface crazing of the rad indicates any type of failure is impending.

Where are the stats to support that this is a problem, other than ancedotal comments???

just curious, what rad cap have you been using, stock or aftermarket ?. Hard to tell if those cracks extend into the interior surface of the rad. It would be cool if you could drain a bit of fluid and insert a small mirror to see if they do, but the rad neck may be too small.

I've replaced 2 S2000 rads. with cracks like that. It will leak or blow. Better replace it soon. Plus your coolant would seem like it hasn't been flushed. So all that contaminant has been tearing up the insides. Tech here just helping you out.
