Should I do the Ap2 Tranny swap?

Just that with a turbo, you'll have enough power at all RPMs where short gearing is a hindrance. On the stock car without a lot of crank torque down low, shorter gears increase the torque at the wheels (and not the derived dyno torque readings...real, applied torque in first gear at the wheels is almost 3,000 lb-ft) and make the car accelerate faster. When turbocharged, you don't need shorter gearing...it may make you slower overall, as you will probably need to shift to 5th maybe 6th in a quarter mile, depending on power levels.

Id say even with turbo do the swap. Just run drag radials.
The ap1 gearbox the 1st gear sucks, its too tall and overloads the diff. Harder to launch. So instead of worrying about wheelspin, just get better tire for the rear.
With 6th being taller and 9k rpm... hell yeah. I like more top end when racing.
Plus its easier to drive in all other situations aside from full throttle. And with the shorter first 4, most of the time helps you spool/get into boost range quicker anyways when coupled to the shorter crank of ap1 and boosted.
Its a win win swap no matter how you look at it. (IMO)
