Default Should i be concerned? (Differential)

Today i changed my gearbox and diff oil. When i removed the magnetic sump plug it seemed to have a lot of metal flakes in the oily sediment. I ran a magnet over it and got most of them out (see other photo's).

I have never had a magnetic sump/drain plug so don't know whether this is normal or not. I thought i would ask on here first, before i start panicking and spending lots of money.

Should i be worried?

That's what happened to me, I think it's normal.

"Paste" is normal. Larger particles could be cause for concern.

The particles you can see in the 2nd and 3rd pics are flakes about 5 x 5 mm (largest). Dont know thickness but very thin.

The diff does whine but only just noticeable with roof up.

I've pulled countless dif drain plugs and that one looks bad compared to them. You definitely have an improper wear pattern starting inside the dif.

The dif will make it known when it's time to worry. It could go for a long time like that as well.
