Default Should I built it or stock it?

Hi all, currently my motor is out of the car because it needs a short block. I've the Ultimate Racing turbo setup in my car now. I'm really confuse that if I should BUILT the bottom end for the turbo setup or just buy a new STOCK short block for it? New short block should cost me $2,300 and I don't know how much it would be to built the bottom end.
Can anyone explain to me what it will be involve for a built bottom end? What kinda rods, pistons, sleeves should I go with? Do I have to change my ECU after I built the bottom?
Currently I'm using stock ECU and Greddy E-manage system........would the builted bottom end be able to run with the stock ECU?

Please let me know what you all think because my car is in the shop for almost a month already. I need to do something really soon but just don't know which way to go........
Thanks for all those who cares.

I say build it only because it will be safer so you wont have to worry to much of blowing it again. As for what to use, I'd say call AEBS(they have a website with their number on it) and talk to them. From what I am hearing they are building/built a crate motor that is setup for turbo for our car.

From what I heard from friends they take a F20C and build the motor then sell it. You will have to talk to them about the details because I don't know any. But if you find out some stuff, please post it for others to see.

I talked to AEBS and they said they've done couple of the F20C. They recommand me to T-sleeves it and put new forged pistons and rods etc........ I think the whole meal will be around $3,500-$4,000 !! Do I really need that much of a bottom end? I'm only going to be boosting around 7-10psi.

Are there anyother cheaper way to do this? Would any machine shop be able to do a high strength block!?

Another way of looking at your situation.

$2300 for a brand new short block to recover a mis fortune = 1 choice

or

$4000 for a fully built block to prevent future mis fortune + MORE BOOST = My choice
