Cost outright was about $900.00 parts only My tech Todd at Elk Grove Honda put in the updated plate etc. Shifts like a new car no grinding and no slipping I don't do any more 6500 rpm launches though! Blair

I have a 2001 with only 7,500 miles after driving it hard i burnt the disk really bad. every time i would pull into my garage you could smell the clutch even when driving the car very good/slow it would still smell. i took it in to honda and they called me 3 hours later saying that the disc and flywheel needed to be replaced but they would only cover the disc under TSB. i ended up buying ACT 6 puck disc, ACT heavyduty pressure plate, and toda lightwieght flywheel to just replace everything at once so this problem wouldn't happen again. then i had to fight with dealership for 3 days to get them to pay for labor after the service department already told me they would pay for labor on my new parts. the service manager found out about the repair and because they were not going to use the stock replacement disk he wanted me to pay for labor after buying and shipping all the new parts to the dealership. be safe if you buy all your own parts
