Default should Honda replace clutch bearings and pressure plate as part of TSB054???????

I know everyone has already heard plenty about the notorious clutch problem. I had never heard of it until I experienced all of the symptoms and started digging through all of the posts on this board. I have the unfortunate luck of experiencing it after driving only 2000 mi. I purchased my MY00 formula red S2k last month with 44,000 mi. and it is out of warranty. The local Honda dealer agreed to pay for the clutch and labor, but said that I must cover the cost of the bearings and the pressure plate. IS THIS WHAT THEY USUALLY DO?? I couldn't tell from reading other posts. SHOULD THEY PAY FOR EVERYTHING? .......IF I HAVE IT REPLACED WILL IT GO OUT AGAIN IN SHORT ORDER? I don't want my next clutch to die prematurely , should I just buy an aftermarket clutch? sorry about the long post, I greatly appreciate any advice,

the TSB only covers the disk. There should be no need to replace either the bearings or the pressure plate unless they need it.

Great time to upgrade the clutch with the dealer covering labor.

The most popular upgrade currently appears to be the ACT clutch. It gives 40% increased holding power and uses a stock disk. And of course, a light weight flywheel will make the car more fun to drive. The clutch runs about $400 and the flywheels also run about the same. There are several board sponsors that have clutches and flywheels for sale. The biggest drawback to upgrading is the cost of labor for the job. I believe it is 9-1/2 hours labor by the book. If you are inclined to upgrade, now is the time to do it.
