Default Shifting to 2nd gear not as smooth as the rest?

Hey guys and gals,

Is it just me or does 2nd gear feel not as smooth as 3, 4, 5, or 6th? Let me try to describe how it feels. It almost feels like its mashing between some things just to get into 2nd, and sometimes it happens with 3rd...anyone else experience this?

2nd has always felt slightly more "notchy" then the other gears to me.

I never thought about it like that. I find that going into second is "notchy" if I am shifting at a low rpm range say around 4K or so. Around 6K its smooth as butter.
I will watch for how I am shifting tomorrow.
