shifter notchiness
so my 3rd gear was doing the pop out while cruising thing and honda fixed it under warranty, now it doesnt pop out anymore. my problem is 3rd is now very very notchy. it doesnt grind or anything like that, its just not as smooth as the other gears, and it doesnt want to go in as fast as the other ones too. i thought maybe it just needed to be broken in a little but its been almost 10,000 miles since and it still has the same feel. what could this be, did the dealership screw up when they put it back together? and yes ive changed my mtf.

I don't know, but I had the same issue w/ 2nd gear. honda replaced it and when it was fixed it was really "stiff". It went in, but was really hard to get in. Its been about 7k miles and its a little better, but still harder to get in than the others. It doesn't pop out and feels ok so I'm thinking its normal or close to it. It seems the higher I rev the engine, the smoother the gears get... so just stay +6k rpm

Take it back to the dealership or you can try GM syncromesh Friction Modified transmission fluid. Made MY00 shifts much smoother.
$12.50 per qt. at my local GM dealership.
