shifted 4 to 3 over rev light flashed twice

i did this b4 about ten thousand miles ago shifted from third to second on accident and i havent had any problems with my car hmm maybe i should get it checked out by now dont yal think

Guess it depends on whether u were really getting on it.Were u in vtec or close to it?

dude i was punchin it took it all the way to the rev limiter and when i shifted my arm kind of shifted to the left n dropped it to second back end fishtailed and i was like oh sh!t n put it in neutral

You have an AP2 which will typically not crack the retainers, which lead to the long term issues. You lost traction which is actually a good thing in this situation otherwise everything goes to the engine driving rpms up and floating/bending valves. I would still check the compression just to be sure you did not bend a valve or 8.

would floating/bending a valve result in loss of hp?

It really just depends on how/which valves, but most of the time yes. However, I have seen people drive with bent valves for a while and never know different.

oh cause i just recently got my car dynoed for fun it was stock when i did it bout a month ago n i hit 203.2whp on a dyno dynamics so idk if thats good or not or should i still just go get my engine checked?
