Hey guys,

I'm going out of my mind with this issue. I haven't had something go wrong for about 18 months too. Ummm, to describe the problem: When I take off from from first, unless I accelerate to about 2500/3100rpm the whole car shakes. Furthermore, when I accelerate from any gear I can feel the car ever so slightly tremor and I think it's getting worse?

It's not misfiring and the engine is fine. Are my engine/transmission mounts going? Or (after researching on the internet), are my axle's on their way out?

I found some engine mounts on ebay etc at around $300 for both ( i think). Anywhere else you guys know where I can buy them?

PS. 1999 with 90,000 miles on the clock.

This is usually the inner CV joints on the rear axles. You can do the joint flip or opt for new ones.

It's worth checking the mounts, though I've never seen them cause that sort of vibration. For your year with your miles, though... I've seen plenty of those with worn CV inner cups.

Any chance of you telling me where to buy inner cv joints? And, approx how many hours does it take to do the swap?...
