Billman, I'm sure the auto tensioner still has plenty of play to still do its job. The tensioner probably twists much more than the amount you're off, every time you start the car. But, to answer your original question, the Goodyear Gator belts will work just fine on an S2000.

Don't you have to pull the Comptech belt before you pull the serpentine belt?
Yes, to change the Serpentine belt you have to take the airbox off, then loosen the supercharger adjustment pulley, drop the SC belt and then pull the stock belt off. The install is in reverse order. Takes longer than a belt change on a non sc'd car, but it's very straightforward.

Well, I checked mine today and mine's lined up just like yours. When I had my head replaced, I know that dealership also installed a new tensioner, but I don't know if they replaced the belt or not. I'll check the receipt when I get home.

I know the tensioner has enough travel. It is just indicating that the belt is beyond it's service limit. I'm not worried about it, just throwing out some general info. Has anyone logged alot of miles on an aftermarket belt?

You must have a much calmer disposition than I have. I've had to do this a couple of times at the track and I thought at that time that it was a flying pain in the ass.

However, I did have the pleasure of watching how amazed most folks were that I had spare belts in my trailer for just such an occassion.
At the track everything (including filling up with gas, checking tire pressure and 'mandatory' session meetings) is a pain in the ass! It helps to have a couple of extra hands or some duct tape to hold the serpentine belt on while you weasel it around all the pulleys. What's really irritating is when you discover that the belt you were sold is too short and you have to put everything back together as it was to start with!
