Thanks for the tip. Looks like Amazon has it for $227. Still not cheap.

I may not need it, I cleared the code (PO139), and it has not come back after diving about 30 mi.

I want to say that a 50 replacement is easy to find on the secondary O2. The primary is hard to find cheap.

I recently bought a secondary sensor from Auto Parts Warehouse online and it was $40. The part delivered was made in Taiwan and appeared to be better quality than the OEM part.

Do you know the part number you bought?

I use a 22mm wrench and a MAPP gas torch. You can't use the box end unless you cut off the connector. If you're getting a new O2 sensor...cutting off the connector is no big deal.

When re-installing, don't over tighten it to make it easier on yourself next time.

For a secondary 02 sensor, I wouldn't have a problem using a cheap universal replacement since it has nothing to do with fuel management. You can use a civic one...which is much cheaper. You could probably even use a civic stock replacement with a connector also. IIRC, the connectors are the same.

www.sparkplugs.com has them cheap.

Best thing I've found to remove o2 sensor is an o2 sensor socket (big surprise, I know ).

In that 2nd link, I have the one on the far right. I'm sure you can buy it locally at an auto parts store (I can't remember where I got it from). It's essentially a line wrench, but in socket form.
