Default Secondary O2 sensor

Hi All

Last friday i picked up my berlina black my00 s2000 and absolutely love it ... s2ki has already answered alot of questions for me by searching the forums (decel buzz normal, phew.. speaker location, how to disable hood movement sensor, how to clear misty window etc..).

Ive read the do's and donts on what questions to ask in this forum but please be gentle if im asking this in the wrong place..

I need to know if I can source a secondary O2 sensor (the rear one) for my MY00 S2000 from somewhere other than Honda as they have quoted

Find the Bosche site and see if they have a cross reference for an O2 sensor (catalytic converter) for our cars. They're big in the O2 sensor business.
As for the secondary sensor, the impact it has on the ECU's running of the car is subtle. It mostly monitors the condition of the cat. That's why you don't feel much difference when it's not working right.

the Bosch part number for the rear sensor is 15403. We sell it for $200 at NAPA. Hope that helps!!

not only road debris - I had to have my 02 sensor and wires replaced because they were eaten through by rodents at some point in time

btw...check ebay for people parting cars out - sometimes 02 sensors and harnesses come up. IIRC the last one I saw was both sensors and wires for approx $100
