Secondary Air Pump sound?
ok i have searched around and couldnt find exactly what im looking for....
i am throwing a P0410 Mil. i cleared it and drove it around to get the smog done on it. well it passed smog but didnt pass the OBD scan the MIL light wasnt on but after he hooked it up the smog computer read that the pump,O2 adn Cat was imcomplete.
i want to make sure it is the pump that has failed and isnt working b 4 i get another one.
does anyone have a sound clip or can make one of what it sounds like? i think i hear it but then again i might be hearing things...
i need to complete this smog so that i can get the REG done and send the pink slip to the bank!
also i knwo that some emission parts are covered under warrenty but i loked it up with honda and it states the Secondary Air pump is covered for 7 years or 70K i am currently at 77K..
i have a 00 AP
thanx

problem fixed...
i removed the bumper to find that the plastic lip for the clip iff the pump was broken and the plug was just resting in the slot and not in...i removed the rest of the broken plastic and plugged it back in and ran some electrical tape around it to ensure it wouldnt pop off...PUMP is sounding now...!
