Default Secondary Air Pump P0410 P0411

I got the code P0410 Secondary air inj malf.

Now i need help i know the price $680ish

now if i dont fix this will this mess up the Engine, Miles Per Gallon anything..

Also if anybody has one for sale used or new for a better price.

there is an eliminator that was posted on here recently, just ordered one myself last night

there is an eliminator that was posted on here recently, just ordered one myself last night
Thought it doesn't work for US models

OP it wont cause any harm to your engine, the worst it will do is annoy you with the CEL, if your car is a US model there only two fixes 1.replace the part of the system that is failing/failed which could be the air pump itself, relay(s), cracked vacuum tank or 2.standalone EMS......good luck-Justin

Glad to see there if finally a simulator that works with our S. I remember when the Challenge one first came out it didn't work on our USDM S's, this will be a nice change instead of having to replace that expensive pump.

i had the same code check your little tubing line that runs up by the injectors one of mine fell off i reattached it and boom cell gone

I keep breaking the bung off the vacuum tank, popping the CEL. First one broke when I was turning the crank, second one when the vac hose got chewed up in my SC belt.

$15 part, but a PITA driving with a CEL for 2 weeks waiting for the part. I think the actual pump going out is pretty rare.
