So the VAFC should be set to 2.9 volts also?

The V-AFC cannot clamp MAP sensor voltage.

ok, so the vortech map unit is already pre-set, nothing for me to worry about.

Correct. The Vortech Black Box has an ESM built in.

Wes, I've got to disagree with you. If you're just changing mixture (and not timing along with it using a VAFC), the difference in power between 12.5:1 and 13.5:1 A/F ratios is minimal.

As for reignman, get rid of any positive settings on the VAFC. It just s up the ECU and causes poor running.

I guess this could be true, all of the fuel tuning that I have witnessed on my car was with MAP sensor tricking. I didn't witness the latest tuning which did not involve the MAP sensor.
