Second Comptech SC dyno tuning with ESM installed
Well I was able to get my car in to the dyno today. Last time the guy couldn't even tune it because any positive settings on the V-AFC would make the ECU go crazy. This time I had the ESM installed and set the voltage at 2.6. The guy had a pretty tough time trying to get the A/F ratio smoothed out with the V-AFC because it would run rich at 3500rpm and at 6000rpm. The problem was after he went over +10 the power would drop because the ECU would be fighting with the V-AFC. After seeing many of the V-AFC settings posted on here I was wondering because he used all positive numbers (adding fuel) and most I have seen posted here use negative numbers. I think the best thing to do would be to add more fuel pressure using the FPR and then I can use negative numbers on the V-AFC which will hopefully smooth out the A/F ratio a bit more and the V-AFC wont have a conflict with the ECU.
I was also surprised because it showed that I was only running 4.1 psi boost max and I thought that the Comptech with stock pulley ran at 6 psi. Does anyone know why it would be running such low boost? Im guessing the difference in 2 psi of boost is why Im dynoing lower then most with the Comptech SC. Below is my dyno chart. I got up to 270hp and 156tq and gained about 7hp after the V-AFC was tuned.

Do you have any other alternatives for tuning your car in your area? Are there some shops that have experience with a V-AFC and a Comptech supercharger? I am concerned that a) your tuner didn't know not to run positive settings on a V-AFC and b) your A/F ratios are all over the chart (and dangerously lean in some areas).
If you can graph boost, my guess is that you will find a big drop somewhere and then a spike. The only way a Comptech SC will only put out 4.1 PSI is if your air cleaner is really plugged, you are leaking boost somewhere (couplers, BPV stuck open, etc) or the belt is slipping.
