Seat rail fabrication?

I have spoken with Eric Wallace and he does not think I would sit any lower than stock by using a Forza seat with Wedge/Sparco rails. Since I need to sit significantly lower, I'll go ahead using the same "technology" described by Vapors2k. I'll basically build a seat base consisting of some 4 bands of steel and I'll bolt the seat onto that.
The biggest downside is that I'll have to swap the seats for every race. But I guess you always have to pay a price .
Thanks,
George

I have installed a Sparco Roadster seat on modified Taitec rails in my car. This results in a seating position about 3" lower than stock. Even without modification this combination of seat and rails get you about 2" lower than stock.
