If you could get a seat belt that has been fired off in an accident, you could likely fix yours as your pyro charges have not been fired. Just answering your question yes it can be done.
Even if the door cut the belt which is impossible, it would be negligence. Air bags are warrantied too, but not if you use them as jack stands
