Sealent Required for Throttle Body Gasket?
Morning all,
I removed my throttle body to give it a clean and put a new gasket on. However, I know it's not given a proper seal, I can hear air being sucked in. Question is, do I need to put gasket sealant on between the throttle body and inlet manifold or should I just try refitting?
Thanks in advance.

It isn't required, the oem gasket will compress. Just make sure you torque the 4 corners evenly and to proper spec. If you have clean metal on the TB and manifold you won't have leaks unless something is warped.
If you feel that it is absolutely necessary you could use Hondabond but it shouldn't be needed. I would run it without sealant first, if you think you still have issues you can always try Hondabond. The new Honda gasket doesn't stick like the factory piece so the TB can be easily removed at a later time.
