Screeching noise
Well for the past few days I've been having a fairly loud screeching noise. When I clutch in, it remains and it only does it while cruising. If I accelerate/brake/turn it goes away. Also after about 15-20min it will go away so that ruled out a hub bearing. I've narrowed it down to the driver rear wheel.
I went out tonight to get some gas at a gas station about 3 miles away. It was raining so all the rotors had rust on them. Naturally after a couple of brakes the rust will go away. Will here is what I found once I got back in my garage.
Driver rear wheel rotor:
Passenger rear wheel rotor:
It appears I either have something under my brake pad / uneven wear in my brake pad / uneven worn rotor? Would this cause a screeching noise? Is it safe to drive?
I'm replacing the rear rotors + pads soon anyway but just wanted to make sure that this is most likely the problem.
Thanks

Change the pads, fixed.
