I could read that as a personal reply.
Yes, you can do it in 4th and 5th. Fifth is even more amazing comming in about 7800 rpm from redline in 4th it just rocks. It sets you back in the seat like 3rd used to when the car was stock.
That rising torque with the supercharger gives quite a thrill ride. I experience a torque increase that is strong from 5000 rpm until 8700 rpm pushing the car harder and harder towards the red line. It is extremely fun to drive in a straight line and comming out of the curves into the straights.
In the curves I must keep the rpms down in the sub 5000 range to avoid the xs torque. Hitting the straights is a total gas. It pins me in the seat. Prior to the SC it would peak at 6600 rpm besting 150 ftlbs of torque. Now, it's over 220 ftlbs.
This is an old dyno plot, some some numbers in my text are greater. I don't have a current dyno plot with the baseline to share.
With limited traction conditions such as rain, cold, or old SO2s you should keep the rpms down in the lower 1/3 or so of the rpm range. I feel a rational person would believe doing 90mph is pushing it.

Thats not, strong, thats the freak to end all freaks!
My car, with the stock tires and 280-290rwhp, never had problems with traction. Then again, I never let my tires run down very far before replacing them. Even slamming the throttle at 6500 rpms on good surface...........WHAM.....car just rocketed forward.
Dont listen to sideways, his "problems" arnt the average supercharged guys "problems."
